Vice-Chancellors’ Meet On University Exams In Odisha Tomorrow

Bhubaneswar: The Higher Education Department has convened a meeting of all university vice-chancellors on Wednesday to discuss the delay in conducting examinations and the revised guidelines issued by the University Grants Commission (UGC) on commencement of the academic session.

The two-hour meeting will be presided over by Higher Education Minister Arun Kumar Sahu via video conferencing at the Lok Seva Bhawan at 10 am.

While the vice-chairperson of the Odisha State Higher Education Council will attend the video conferencing from the conference hall of the Rural Development Department on Lok Seva Bhawan premises, the vice-chancellors have been directed to remain present in the conference hall of the respective district collector’s office.

The commissioner-cum-secretary, Higher Education, has asked the Odisha Computer Application Centre (OCAC) authorities to make necessary arrangements for the video conferencing.
