Video In Hirakud Dam Restricted Area: ‘Ignorant’ Odia Actress Prakruti Says It Was A Mistake

Sambalpur: Prakruti Mishra on Monday regretted the video, which she along with Ollywood actresses Elina Samantaray and Lovina Nayak and Health Minister Naba Kishore Das’ daughter Deepali Das had shot in the restricted area of Hirakud Dam.

“It was a mistake and won’t happen again. We had taken permission for the visit, but were unaware that photos and videos were prohibited,” she said.

The three actresses had landed in a soup after the video went viral on social media.

Earlier in the day, Sambalpur SP Kanwar Vishal Singh had sought a report from Hirakud SDPO on the video in which the three Ollywood actresses were seen hanging out with Deepali in the prohibited area. Prakruti had posted it as her Instagram story.

“It is still not clear as to who allowed them to go inside the prohibited area and shoot the video. I have asked the SDPO to furnish a detailed report by this evening. Appropriate action would be taken on the basis of the report.,” the SP had said.
