Baripada: Vigilance officials on Wednesday apprehended a Gram Rojgar Sevak (GRS) while accepting bribe in Odisha’s Mayurbhanj district.
Following a complaint from a labour leader that Gouramohan Soren, GRS of Analakuda panchayat under Suliapada block was demanding a bribe of Rs 9,000 to release muster roll for engagement of labourers in MGNREGS work, the Vigilance set a trap.
The Vigilance has registered a case and further investigation is on.
