Bhubaneswar: A day after the arrest of Laxmikant Behera, an ORTEL Communication staffer, and his friend Biswajit Mohanty in connection with a viral audio clip on COVID-19 management, the Commissionerate Police on Tuesday took them on a three-day remand for further interrogation.
While producing them in the SDJM court on Monday afternoon, police had prayed for their three-day remand. The court allowed police to take them on remand for three days from Tuesday, following which, the duo was sent to the Jharpada Jail.
