Mumbai: Trending on Twitter is nothing new, especially for celebrities. But sometimes it can be in bad taste or wrong reasons as well. In one such intance, star couple Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma started trending on Twitter with #VirushkaDivorce.
Recently, Anushka was involved in a controversy after BJP MLA Nandkishore Gurjar filed a case against the actress for using his photo in ‘Patal Lok’ without consent. The MLA went further by advising cricketer Virat Kohli to divorce Anushka.
Now, a Twitter user shared a screenshot of the qnews, triggering the illogical trend of #VirushkaDivorce. Several users have posted memes against the trend, which also perhaps contributed to it going viral.
