VP At Utkal University Convocation: Antigen Test Of Students & Staff Made Mandatory

Bhubaneswar: Ahead of the visit of Vice-President M Venkaiah Naidu to Utkal University to attend its annual convocation as chief guest on April 3, Commissioner of the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) Prem Chandra Chaudhary had a review meeting with the university authorities on Wednesday.

Talking to mediapersons after the meeting, Chaudhary said keeping the surge of COVID-19 cases in the state in view, all students and staff of the university will undergo the mandatory rapid antigen test.

Apart from this, those who are scheduled to come in close contact with the Vice-President will have to undergo RT-PCR test, he added.
