Cuttack: Jagatpur police arrested a wanted criminal, Rajesh Kumar alias Bapuni, from Nanakar area of Cuttack on Thursday night.
The arrest was in connection with the attack on people of Nanakar and Nuasahi area on March 22. Five persons have already been arrested in this connection.

Acting on a tip-off, the police conducted raids in his house late on Thursday night and arrested him. They also seized a country-made pistol from his possession.
On March 22, Bapuni and his associates had threatened and attacked some people of Nanakar and Nuasahi area under Jagatpur police limits. An FIR was registered at Jagatpur police station in this matter.
