Cuttack: The Cuttack district administration on Friday evening confirmed that 11 more people in the Millennium City had tested positive for COVID-19.
Five of these cases were detected in Acharya Harihar Post Graduate Institute of Cancer, and the other six were reported from a private nursing home at Chauliaganj here.
Earlier in the day, the Cuttack Municipal Corporation had announced about 59 new cases being detected in the city. Amog them, 53 were attendants and patients of the cancer hospital and one corona warrior deployed at the isolation ward. Another person linked with a previous case of the hospital had also tested positive for the virus.

Two nurses, five patients, an attendant and an employee of the Aahaar Centre on the hospital premises were earlier found infected in the last few days of May. On July 1, six persons linked with previous positive cases of the cancer facility had tested corona positive.
