Mumbai: The teaser of ‘Adipurush’ starring Prabhas and Saif Ali Khan in lead roles has turned out to be a dampener. Fans who had been waiting eagerly for the mass entertainer for a long time are quite irked and disappointed. They were expecting a better animation from VFX makers. Netizens are calling the teaser insipid.
Reportedly, VFX maker NYVFXWAALA has scored the graphics animation of this film, which is owned by Ajay Devgn. Many Twitter users are also attributing this reason to the half-baked visual quality of the teaser.
On Sunday night, hashtags such as disappointingAdispurush and BoycottAdipurush trended on Twitter with many fans drawing exact comparisons to scenes from Game of Thrones and Planet of the Apes.
Making fun of the teaser, Prem Sharma posted that the teaser is a 700-crore version of the temple run game.
Another user, Rumi quoting visuals of the Targaryen Dynasty’s dragons from the Game of Thrones wrote that it is a shameless copy of the TV series.
Lauding the graphics animation of Brahmastra, another user wrote that after seeing this my respect for Ayan Mukherjee and his team has increased.
Sarcastically referring to the animation, another user said that the VFX artist must be a topper at White Hat Junior.
Adipurush is slated to release on January 12, 2023. Its storyline is inspired by Ramayana. It features Prabhas as Lord Ram and Saif Ali Khan as Ravana. The film will be simultaneously released in Hindi and Telugu.
