Hyderabad: Alia Bhatt is flying high.
Even as her performance in Gangubhai Kathiawadi has been receiving rave reviews, fans are looking forward to her upcoming film ‘RRR’ with as much interest. SS Rajamouli’s film will mark Alai’s debut in Tollywood.
The makers of RRR whetted fans’ appetite further by dropping the teaser of the song ‘Etthara Jenda’. The video clip shows Alia, Ram Charan and Jr NTR grooving to the catchy tune.
It’s a promotional song and will reportedly be shown during the end credits. The full song will be out on March 14, the teaser shows Alia, Ram and Jr NTR grooving together.
RRR, due for release on March 25, will see Alia playing a special cameo.
She said she’d requested Rajamouli to give her an opportunity to work with him.
“I met Rajamouli sir at Hyderabad airport and I approached him and told him, ‘Sir I want to work in your film. I’ll do anything to be in your film’. And it really was like a dream come true when he said that there is actually something that I could do,” she said.
“To my surprise, he said, ‘Sita is very important in the film, and I am happy that you match her character’. I prepared for a year and worked on my lines for a year. The most scary part for me was to say my lines in Telugu,” Alia said.
RRR will also feature Ajay Devgn in an important role.
