Mumbai: Incidents of celebrities being mobbed by fans continue to rise, with Varun Dhawan being the latest to experience it.
The Bollywood actor was surrounded by a crowd outside the Wankhede Stadium, where he watched the India versus England T20 World Cup semifinal on Thursday.
In a video clip, Varun is seen surrounded by fans outside who are trying to click selfies with the actor after the thrilling match which Team India won by 7 runs.
As the crowd pushes closer, Varun appears visibly irritated and is seen attempting to snatch a fan’s phone.

Another video from the same evening shows Varun smiling and posing for pictures with fans, suggesting that the chaotic crowd situation outside the stadium may have triggered his extreme reaction.

On the work front, Varun was recently seen in ‘Border 2’, which has emerged as a box-office success, minting Rs 328.32 crore so far.
He will next be seen in the romantic entertainer ‘Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai’, which also stars Mrunal Thakur and Pooja Hegde. The film is scheduled to be released on June 5.
