A man travelling in a car spotted a bear on the Digisalapa-Udaypur road near Tentulikhuti.

The man whipped out his mobile phone and made a video of the wild animal. While the video has gone viral on social media, it has also triggered panic among residents of the area.

According to wildlife experts, the bear must have been hungry and strayed into human habitation in broad daylight.

Bears generally roam on the roads near villages at night, they added.
