Birmingham: Double Olympic medallist Indian shuttler P V Sindhu won her first gold medal at the Commonwealth Games, defeating Canada’s Michelle Li 21-15, 21-13 in the women’s single final on Monday.
Sindhu has now completed the set, having won bronze in 2014, incidentally the year Li won her gold medal, silver in 2018 and now gold in Birmingham.
