[Watch] Cyclone Gulab: Early Visuals Of Andhra Coast Ahead Of Landfall
Bhubaneswar: Cyclone Gulab predicted to commence landfall between Gopalpur in Odisha and Kalingapatanam in Andhra Pradesh on Sunday evening.
According to the latest information released by the Meteorological Centre, Bhubaneswar around 6.25 pm on Sunday, cloud bands have touched coastal regions and thus the landfall process has commenced over north coastal Andhra Pradesh and adjoining south coastal Odisha.
The system will cross coasts between Kalingapatnam and Gopalpur during the next 3 hours.
Early visuals released by the Meteorological Centre, Bhubaneswar showed a deserted beach at Kalingapatanam with the roar of the sea picking up.

The Met Centre warned on Sunday evening that there is likely to be high risk over few watersheds over South Odisha districts in the next 24 hours. Surface runoff or Inundation may occur at some fully saturated soils and low-lying areas over the area as depicted in map due to the expected rainfall triggered by Cyclone Gulab.
