Pune: The Odisha girls were cock-a-hoop after capping a dream run with a resounding victory to lift the Junior National Rugby 7s title.

Up against Maharashtra in the final, Odisha dominated with an aggressive brand of rugby to triumph 52-0.

Odisha thus went one better than the last edition, when they had finished runners-up.

The semifinal was a much closer affair for Odisha as they tamed Bihar 22-17 to avenge last year’s defeat.
