Firefighters had to be called in to rescue a 21-year-old British woman who got stuck inside a tumble dryer in an inebriated state. The video of the incident has gone viral.
A few pegs down, university student Rosie Cole was dared by housemates to get inside the dryer in their shared accommodation in the UK. Cole wasn’t sure if she would ‘fit’, but managed to wriggle in through the front door before getting stuck.
According to media reports, emergency services had to be summoned around 11 pm, a
Humberside Fire & Rescue Service, which attended to the distress call, said the woman was rescued without suffering any injury. Video footage shows three fireman trying to pull her out after she was stuck for about half an hour. Watch the video here:

Daily Star quoted Cole as saying that she tried to escape from the tumble dryer, but the machine tipped forward. Her housemates then attempted to pull her out, but without any luck.
“They were lovely and they just laughed at me. When they were leaving they opened the washing machine and asked if anyone else needed saving,” she said about the firemen’s response to the bizarre incident.
