New Delhi: Among the 350 electors to cast their vote in the first 1.5 hours of the presidential poll, was former prime minister and now Congress MP, Manmohan Singh, who came in a wheelchair.
When Singh reached the ballot box, he was helped by four officials to get up from his wheelchair and cast his vote.
Voting for the presidential election in which NDA candidate Droupadi Murmu is pitted against joint Opposition pick Yashwant Sinha began earlier in the day with Prime Minister Narendra Modi being the first to cast his vote. The voting process would conclude at 5 pm.
