A few places in the upper areas of Kashmir had experienced light snowfall on Friday after receiving this season’s first snowfall a couple of days back. Some other places in the plains received trace amounts of rain, reports stated quoting weather officials.
Razdan Top, which connects Bandipora with the frontier Gurez sector, was covered with a thin layer of snow. This resulted in the temporary closure of the pass for traffic.
But the weather conditions might improve across Jammu and Kashmir from Saturday afternoon, reports claimed. The weathermen predicted a possibility of dry weather from November 17 to 23, while light rain and snow over higher reaches at isolated places was expected on November 24.
