Bhubaneswar: DCP (Bhubaneswar) Prateek Singh on Saturday said he was hopeful that former Aska MLA Saroj Padhi, who has been missing since May 12, would be traced soon.
Singh said messages had been flashed to police units across Odisha and his description circulated. He said that police were constantly in touch with his family members and relatives. Police were also looking for him at railway stations, bus stands and airports.
Padhi has been missing after he left his apartment in Unit VI in Bhubaneswar around 7 am on May 12. The former legislator’s son registered case at the Capital police station.
Singh said that Padhi left his wallet, phone and other essential items at home before leaving the house.
