[Watch] Meerut Murder: Here’s How Muskan Rastogi Danced With Lover After Killing Hubby, Also Hear Viral Audio Clip

Meerut: Surprising details of Muskan Rastogi and her lover Sahil Shukla, who allegedly killed her husband Saurabh Rajput—a merchant navy officer— in Meerut, and then took a mountain trip for 15 days in Himachal Pradesh, have surfaced. The cab driver, Ajab Singh, has reportedly shared details of the journey.  In an interview to the India Today TV, Singh reportedly said on it didn’t feel like they had just killed the 29-year-old man.

The driver revealed that while travelling to Shimla and Manali, Muskaan and Sahil, both 27, barely spoke to each other. Muskaan only received two calls from her mother, reported the Hindustan Times. Moreover, Sahil used to drink two bottles of alcohol every day, the driver claimed. He also alleged that Muskaan drank three cans of beer brought from Shamli after they reached Himachal Pradesh. The duo was travelling in Singh’s Swift Dzire that they had booked on the day of murder, March 4, at a cost of ₹54,000. The driver, however, claimed that he wasn’t aware of any wrongdoing or the crime.

Muskaan had reportedly ordered a cake from the driver for Sahil’s birthday via an audio message on WhatsApp while they were staying at a hotel. She had reportedly instructed him to only send a message to confirm its arrival and not to call.

A purported clip of the audio message has gone viral on social media. In the clip, a female voice is heard saying: “Bhaiya, please bring me a cake from somewhere. Do not call me—just message me to let me know if you got it. Bring the cake to our room and say, “This is my stuff, keep it; I’ll take it tomorrow morning.’ That’s all you have to do.”

A video of the couple has also emerged on social media. It purportedly showed Muskaan and Sahil attending a Holi party. OdishaBytes could independently verify the authenticity of the video. The video shows a Holi party in which Muskaan and Sahil were seen smiling and enjoying the music together. In another clip, Muskaan is shown celebrating Sahil’s birthday in Kasol. She feeds him cake before giving him a kiss, shows the video.

The Meerut case

Muskaan and Sahil confessed to having stabbed Saurabh to death on March 4. The two then chopped up his body and dumped the remains inside a drum and sealed it with cement. They were arrested on Tuesday.
