[Watch] Miss Universe Harnaaz Sandhu’s Grand Homecoming

Mumbai: There was a grand reception for Miss Universe 2021 Harnaaz Sandhu when she returned to India from Israel.

Hundreds of fans, members of her family and fashion fraternity along with mediapersons had been waiting at the airport. As soon as she came out after clearing immigration formalities, resplendent in a gorgeous red dress, Harnaaz was greeted with bouquets and gifts.

Everyone present wanted a piece of her and wanted to click pictures. She was handed an Indian flag and posed willingly and smilingly for the cameras before leaving the airport.

The 21-year-old Harnaaz, who hails from Chandigarh, beat the challenge of contestants from 79 countries to end a 21-year drought for India. Lara Dutta had won the prestigious crown in 2000.

Harnaaz had won a number of beauty pageants, including LIVA Miss Diva Universe 2021 and Femina Miss India Punjab 2019, before contesting in Miss Universe 2021.
