[Watch] Naveen Jindal Arrives On Horse To Cast Vote In Haryana Assembly Elections

Kurukshetra: Industrialist and politician Naveen Jindal stole the limelight on election day here.

BJP’s Member of Parliament from Kurukshetra rode a horse to his polling booth to cast his vote for the Haryana assembly election.

In a video posted by ANI, Jindal is seen getting down from a horse, meeting party workers and even posing for a picture with a little boy before proceeding to the polling station.

Jindal, the Chairman of Jindal Steel & Power, quit the Congress and joined BJP in March, ahead of the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. He was elected MP from Kurukshetra after beating Aam Aadmi Party’s Dr Sushil Gupta by just over 29,000 votes.

Naveen’s mother Savitri, Chairperson of O P Jindal Group, is in the fray in the Haryana Assembly election — as an Independent candidate from Hisar constituency. Savitri is up against Haryana minister and sitting MLA Kamal Gupta.

Haryana is voting in a single phase, to elect 90 legislators in the state.

Votes will be counted on October 8.
