Bhubaneswar: Odia film director Dillip Panda has courted controversy again and this time for misbehaving with staff of a hotel at Unit XI here in an inebriated condition on Monday night.
The director, whom an actress had accused of harassment in November 2018, was caught on CCTV camera brandishing a knife on being refused to be served food after the closing time.
He and his associates reached the hotel at around 10.30 pm.
“He tried to thrown his weight around. He then picked a vegetable cutting knife and threatened me with dire consequences. His friends too tried to intimidated me and two of my colleagues,” said a hotel staffer.
The hotel owner ,Sitanshu Mishra, has tweeted the Commissionerate Police regarding the incident.
