[Watch] Odisha Collector Impresses With Impromptu Dance At Bhitarkanika Mahotsav
Bhubaneswar: A video of Amrit Rituraj, the Collector of Odisha’s Kendrapada district, breaking into an impromptu dance at Bhitarkanika Mahotsav has gone viral.
He joined the artistes on the stage during the three-day festival and was seen shaking a leg as Odia singer Antara Chakraborty crooned the popular Odia song “Lachak mani, baby lo…’
The collector dancing along with the cine actors created a rippling effect and the audience spontaneously rose to their feet trying to match steps. Many of the viewers were all praise for the dancing skills of the collector.
A number of Odia cine artistes and singers regaled the audience with their performance at the festival held at Nalitapatia village in Bhitarkanika National Park to promote the national park and its wetland area. It was a joint venture of Odisha Forest Department, District Administration, and Tourism Department.
