Bhubaneswar: Odisha, as a tourist destination has lately been catching the attention of many. People across the globe have been resorting to the state of fine arts to rejuvenate and enjoy their vacation.
What’s quite remarkable is the fact that major infotainment channels have also featured Odisha many times. The recent being Episode 3 of OMG! Odisha on History TV18.
Celebrating World Tourism Day, Odisha Tourism tweeted about the same where the video talks about Padmanbhpur, an ancient weaving village, Gopalpur beach, popular beach and tourist destination, and Daringbadi, the Kashmir of Odisha.
The TV host first goes to the weavers to see the weaving techniques that he said existed since 1946. Next, he moves towards Dhenkanal where the video shows popular Dhokra crafts, the history and charming architecture. It further showcases the heritage in Gopalpur and the old lighthouse there. In the end, the quaint hinterlands of Daringbadi has been captured. History TV 18 had also uploaded various other episodes tracing the beauty of Odisha.
Discovery Channel had also uploaded a video that begins by describing Odisha as a land of treasure and adventure.
