Mumbai: Veteran filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt has been in the news for quite some time now, but for the wrong reasons.
After the controversial WhatsApp conversation with ‘Jalebi’ actress Rhea Chakraborty, a private video of the filmmaker with Jiah Khan, then 16 years old, has kicked up a storm on social media platforms.
The viral video, alleged to be from 2004, shows Bhatt and Jiah cozying up and holding hands.
After sharing a hearty laugh, Jiah tries to move away from Bhatt in the video.

Jiah was supposed to make her Bollywood debut opposite Bhatt’s nephew Emraan Hashmi in ‘Tumsa Nahin Dekha’. However, she turned down the offer due to reasons unknown.
Jiah made her Bollywood debut opposite Amitabh Bachchan in Ram Gopal Varma’s ‘Nishabd’.
The model-turned-actress was found dead under mysterious circumstances on June 3, 2013.
Jiah’s mother Rabia Khan lodged a complaint against actor Sooraj Pancholi, who was in a relationship with her daughter, for abetment of suicide.
Mahesh Bhatt has been at the receiving end for calling Sushant Singh Rajput ‘mentally ill’ and advising Rhea to part ways with the actor.
His WhatsApp conversation with Rhea suggested that the duo shared a close bond with each other.
After leaving Sushant’s house on June 8, Rhea had thanked Bhatt for ‘unclipping her wings’.
