New Delhi: Amid the ongoing controversy surrounding YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia aka BeerBiceps, a video of the podcaster being schooled by Priyanka Chopra has gone viral.
It is an old video of Ranveer’s interview with ‘desi girl’ Priyanka.
Asked if she still cares to attend family functions after achieving fame, the actress lectured the podcaster about the significance of family.
“Do you still go for family functions and all that? Can you? Because of the fame angle,” Ranveer asked Priyanka.
When Priyanka, who seemed to be baffled by the question, asked Ranveer to explain, he said, “You’ve reached this (gestures with arms) level of fame, I can’t imagine you.”
Priyanka replied, “So? Are you saying I’m not going to dance at the baraat of my brother’s wedding?”
When Ranveer replied “maybe,” Priyanka snapped: “Maybe nahi bhai. Of course. My cousins, my brothers… Family is most important to me. My fame is a by-product of my job; it doesn’t define me. My fame is not my job. It’s very clear to me. I’m not famous for a living, I work for a living, and fame comes with it. That’s something I can’t control. It’s thrust upon me.”

Ranveer is in troubled over his crass ‘sex’ joke on parents on Samay Raina’s roast show ‘India’s Got Latent.’
The podcaster’s comments sparked public outrage and FIRs have been filed against Ranveer, the show makers and other judges.
Following the backlash, Samay deleted all episodes of the show and expressed that the situation was “overwhelming and difficult for him to manage.”
