New Delhi: Rahul Gandhi has been trying to woo Dalits during his campaign trail for the Lok Sabha 2024 elections, often eating food cooked by them in their house while sitting on the floor with them.

Recently, while campaigning in Rae Bareli, he decided to get his beard at a Dalit barber shop. Not only did Rahul’s gesture woo the barber, Mithun Kumar, it also changed the latter’s life forever, making him a superstar overnight. The video of Rahul Gandhi getting his beard trimmed went viral in no time and so did Mithun’s phone number. He said his business has started flourishing since Rahul Gandhi’s visit, adding that he is getting calls from all over the world. to only that, people are inviting him to countries like Australia to work there. “Rahul Gandhi has changed the life of a Dalit and soon he will change the life of every Indian once he comes back to power,” wrote @niiravmodi on Instagram.

He is Mithun Kumar, a barber.

He was born to a kattar hindu dalit family in Raibareli.
