Mumbai: Having gone through a harrowing time after the death of his boyfriend Sushant Singh Rajput, Rhea Chakraborty returned to work after two years.
The actress shared a video on Instagram in which she can be seen reading a script for a voice recording.
“Yesterday, I went to work after 2 years. A big thank you to all the people who stood by me through my toughest times. No matter what, the sun always shines. Never give up,” Rhea wrote alongside the video.

Friends and fans welcomed Rhea back.
Shibani Dandekar, a close friend of Rhea’s, commented, “Yaassss girl get it.”
Producer Nidhi Parmar Hirachandani wrote: “Onwards and upwards my strong one.”
A fan wrote, “So happy to see you getting back to work. Wish you all the success. Here’s to a bright future.”
Another fan wondered whether she was going to release a song.
Rhea’s last film was Rummy Jafry’s ‘Chehre’, which was shot in 2019-2020 but had a delayed release late last year due to COVID restrictions.
The death of Sushant, who was found hanging in his Mumbai apartment on June 14, 2020, was first investigated by Mumbai Police which concluded it was a suicide case. But following an FIR by Sushant’s family against Rhea, the case was handed over to Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).
With a drug angle emerging, Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) probed the drug nexus in Bollywood.
Rhea and her brother Showik Chakraborty were arrested by NCB in September 2020. The actress spent a month in Byculla Jail before getting bail, while Showik was in prison for three months.
