Mumbai: India having completed Mission England successfully, players of the national team are shifting focus to the IPL.
Most of the players have joined their respective teams and have started preparing for the world’s most popular and competitive T20 league, which kicks off in India on April 9.
Captain and star batsman Rohit Sharma joined five-time champions Mumbai Indians with wife Ritika and daughter Samaira.
Just two years and three months old, Samaira is everyone’s darling in the Mumbai Indians camp. The IPL franchise on Wednesday posted a cute video where Samaira dons daddy’s full-sized helmet and is seen answering a few questions from mother Ritika.
Much to the amusement of everyone around, little Samaira identifies the Mumbai Indians logo on the helmet, shows how dad Rohit plays the pull shot and also how she will cheer for the five-time IPL champions.

Rohit is looking to be the first captain in IPL history to win a hat-trick of titles. MI defended their crown in the 2020 edition – which was shifted from India to the UAE due to the coronavirus pandemic – by overwhelming Delhi Capitals in the final.
MI will open their 2021 campaign against Virat Kohli-led Royal Challengers Bangalore in Chennai on April 9.
