[Watch] Saina Nehwal Biopic: Parineeti Chopra Serves A Winner With Role Of Badminton Champ

Mumbai: The much-awaited trailer of the Saina Nehwal biopic was released online on International Women’s Day on Monday.

Going by the trailer, it is a captivating portrayal of the badminton champ’s dedication to become the no 1 player.

In the biopic titled ‘Saina’, Parineeti Chopra steps into the shoes of the stellar player and she has done an excellent job in essaying her onscreen.

The film also features Manav Kaul, Ankur Vikal, Meghna Malik and Shubrajyoti Bharat.

The first half of the trailer shows how a girl from a small village in Haryana dreams of becoming the no. 1 badminton player in the world and how her parents help her fulfil her dream, NDTV reported.

The second half of the trailer highlights the hardships and obstacles that Saina faced before she jumped back into the game with full force and proved herself as an outstanding player.

Sharing the trailer on social media, Parineeti wrote: “This women’s day I am proud to bring to you – SAINA. In cinemas March 26.”
