Mumbai: After guarding and protecting his master for years, it seems superstar Salman Khan’s bodyguard Shera now wants to try his hand in acting.
Having made a brief appearance in Salman and Kareena Kapoor’s ‘Bodyguard’ in 2011, the real-life bodyguard will now feature in an ad film.
In the ad, based on a Raksha Bandhan campaign for a grocery delivery app, Shera plays the character of ‘bhai’ (brother), who offers help to women in need. Shera is seen helping a woman get an autorickshaw in the rains, and safeguarding another woman from her disrespectful classmate.
The ad film urges its audience to send a rakhi to their brothers who protect and safeguard them like Shera.
The ad, which was unveiled on Friday, soon went viral.
“Bhai Ka Bodyguard Arjun Kappor Se jayeda Famous h😂🙌” wrote one user.
“Bhai. Amazing,” said another person.
One user posted, “Shera bhai Bollywood ke aajkal ke Nepokids se achi acting karte hai.”
“Bahot hi behtreen andaaz hai Shera sir,” shared another.
