Did you know that tigers can sing?
The answer is ‘no’ for most people, except those who have visited a zoo in Siberia recently.
An 8-month-old tiger cub named Vitas has been entertaining hundreds of visitors at the zoo in Barnaulis with its musical cries and has also become a rage in social media.
The zoo recently shared a video where the tiger is heard calling out in an unusual melodic tune, producing a sound like a chirping bird.
Watch the video tweeted by Reuters:
The Amur tiger was born in June 2020 and was among four cubs of Sherkhan and Bagheera, the parents.
The Amur tiger, one of the world’s largest cats, faced extinction a few years ago.
