[Watch] Sunita Williams Breaks Into A Dance As She Reaches Space Station Safely Docking Boeing’s Starliner

New Delhi: Indian-born astronaut Sunita Williams, who along with fellow NASA astronaut Barry Butch Wilmore safely docked the Boeing’s Starliner with the International Space Station (ISS) recently, danced to celebrate her arrival as they reached the space station.

Williams and Wilmore were welcomed by the ringing of a bell, an old tradition followed in ISS as they docked the Boeing spacecraft about 26 hours after launching from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida on Thursday.

The 59-year-old also hugged the seven other astronauts aboard the ISS. Boeing shared the video on its X handle.

Williams is the first woman to pilot and assess a new crewed spacecraft during its inaugural mission. Before the lift-off, she had said she was nervous but had no jitters about flying in a new spacecraft, NDTV reported.
