Mumbai/Patna: Sushant Singh Rajput‘s father KK Singh on Monday released a video statement, revealing as to why he was compelled to file a complaint at Patna.
In the 47-second video, Singh said that he had alerted the Mumbai Police about the danger to his son’s life on February 25 and named some people in his complaint.
He alleged that Bandra Police took no action against those he had named in his complaint even after the tragic demise of the actor on June 14.
Justifying the FIR at Patna, he said: “On February 25, I informed Bandra Police that he’s in danger. He died on June 14 and I asked them to act against people named in my February 25 complaint. No action was taken even 40 days after his death. So I filed FIR in Patna.”

Thanking the Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and Sanjay Jha for supporting the truth, he added, “We want the Patna Police to get assistance.”
His lawyer, Vikas Singh, had earlier told the media that the family had approached Bandra Police with their concern regarding people surrounding the actor that ‘they didn’t trust’. “No investigation against Rhea was done and instead she was given a clean chit,” he said.
Mumbai police commissioner Param Bir Singh, however, had said that the family didn’t raise any suspicion when the city police recorded their statements on June 16.
