Bhubaneswar: The Indian and South African cricket teams arrived at the Biju Patnaik International Airport (BPIA) in Odisha’s capital around 2 pm on Friday ahead of the second T20 International, which will be played at Cuttack’s Barabati Stadium on June 12.
The players were escorted to Mayfair Hotel from the airport in special buses amid tight security.
The teams will leave on June 13.
Earlier on Thursday, state DGP Sunil Bansal visited the stadium and reviewed security preparedness along with Twin City Police Commissioner Soumendra Priyadarshi and DCP, Cuttack.
