[Watch] Virat Kohli Pulls Off Perfect Mimicry Act Of India Teammate

Dubai: We are all aware of what Virat Kohli is capable of doing on a cricket field. But very few knew about his mimicry skills.

You just have to watch the video that he has shared on social media to be convinced that he is a master mimic.

The Team India captain, who will be relinquishing his leadership role in T20 Internationals post the T20 World Cup, took time out on Monday to record a video copying India teammate Shikhar Dhawan’s batting stance and postures at the crease.

“Hi, this is Virat Kohli and I’m going to mimic Shikhar Dhawan because I feel he is lost in his space so much it’s very funny and I have seen it many times from the other end,” Kohli says before aping his fellow-Delhiite’s facial expressions, stance and mannerisms. He posted the video on Twitter and Facebook.

Left-handed opener Dhawan, who emerged as fourth highest run-getter in the recently-concluded IPL, Dhawan was surprisingly left out of the Indian squad for the T20 World Cup.

Dhawan led India in the limited-overs fixtures against Sri Lanka in July, where a second-string team played three ODIs and three T20Is. The likes of Kohli, Rohit Sharma, Jasprit Bumrah and others were in England preparing for the five-match Test series.
