Bhubaneswar: The COVID-19 pandemic has taken a toll on most people as they have battled health issues, mental stress and financial crunch.
So, what’s the best way to cope with the crisis? Adopt the ‘ABC mantra’, according to Additional Secretary and OSD to Chief Secretary, Odisha, Dillip Routray.
Addressing a cross-country webinar on ‘Stress in the Pandemic Times’ on Saturday evening, Routray explained ‘A’ refers to attitude, ‘B’ stands for firm belief in one’s own self and ‘C’ represents a sterling character.
“A synchronization of these eternal 3-Doctrines of life will be a brawny capsule to mitigate the impact of stress,” Routray elaborated in the seminar which was organized jointly by Parichay Foundation and Karma Foundation from New Delhi on the Facebook platform.
Youths, professionals and experts from different countries participated in the webinar, which moderated by Founder of Parichay Rosalin Patasani Mishra. She said the main objective of the webinar was to help people tide over such an “unprecedented situation.”
The common narrative of the speakers was that these times of stress are also the signals for growth. “We can convert the adversity to opportunity by staying firm and positive,” they advocated.
There was an open house discussion and a question-answer session where several participants interacted with the speakers.
