Bhubaneswar: The bus rides for the popular lion safari at Nandankanan Zoo here resumed on Monday, one-and-a-half months after it was suspended.
Zoo Deputy Director Sanjeet Kumar informed that two 34-seater buses will operate in the first phase.
A safari ticket is priced at Rs 60 per tourist and can be bought at the counter of the new bus stand near the zoo’s gate number-9.
The lion safari has been one of the most sought after attractions at Nandankanan zoo after it was launched in 1984. The safari area is spread over 20 hectares.
