New Delhi: WhatsApp is reportedly working on allowing ShareChat videos play in picture-in-picture (PIP) mode inside chats like YouTube, Facebook & Instagram videos.
According to WABetaInfo, the new service will be available in the latest WhatsApp Beta version for iOS(2.20.81.3) and Android (2.20.197.7).
Like others, ShareChat videos received on WhatsApp chat will run in PIP mode once users tap on it.
ShareChat is a Bengaluru-based regional language social platform having a user base of over 60 million monthly active users. It is available in Hindi, Malayalam, Gujarati, Marathi, Punjabi, Telugu, Tamil, Bengali, Odia, Kannada, Assamese, Haryanvi, Rajasthani, Bhojpuri and Urdu.
WhatsApp is also working on auto-delete messages that disappear in seven days without leaving a trace.
