Popular messaging app WhatsApp is reportedly building a Snapchat like feature that will destroy messages automatically after a specified time. The “self-destructing messages” are also available on Telegram and Facebook Messenger.
Users will be able to set a timer for messages, after which the messages will automatically disappear. Users can change the time from anywhere between five seconds to one hour.
This is currently being tested in version 2.19.275.
This feature will help users share sensitive information without the fear of leaking out.
