Mumbai: Amitabh Bachchan, whose Bollywood career has spanned over 50 years, shared a hair-raising experience from his younger days.
Sharing a picture on social media from the shooting of his 1977 film Khoon Pasina, the Bollywood legend talked about his ‘duel’ with a tiger, an experience he said he’d never forget.
“Never realized that when Costume Dept gave me this jacket for my film KHOON PASINA , that I would have to fight a real tiger .. !! You have no idea how strong a tiger is .. an ordeal I shall never forget ..” Bachchan wrote.
In the film, Bachchan takes on a huge royal Bengal tiger bare-handed. As the human and animal roll on the ground, it appears almost unreal.
Bachchan’s post drew interesting reactions from the film fraternity, reported Hindustan Times.
“The Tiger had to fight you.. must be thinking the same..” wrote director Farah Khan.
“As children when Mukul & I saw it .. remember gaping at the ones at circuses those days,” was actor Rahul Dev’s response.
