Mumbai: Manoj Bajpayee is regarded as one of India’s most talented and versatile actors.
The National Award winner, who featured in the Arun Batra movie ‘Gulmohar’ that released last month, recently shared a hilarious incident from his early years.
Recalling his first trip abroad, the ‘Family Man’ actor said he visited France for a theatre programme in what was his maiden international flight.
It was on the flight back to India that he consumed too much alcohol after coming to know drinks are free and he wouldn’t be charged for it.
“When I was doing theatre, I had gone to Paris, that was my first international trip. While on the flight, I didn’t take alcohol at all, because I thought they would charge me for it and I didn’t have money! Because of theatre, I was going there as part of an exchange programme. After going there I found out that they serve it for free. While coming back, I drank so much that I fell unconscious! I drank so much,” he told Curly Tales.
Bajpayee will next be seen in ‘Joram’ and ‘Despatch.’
