Gauri Sankar Das has directed two short movies on the subject.

Das’s short movie ‘Corona Ra Kuni Yodha’ was released on Youtube recently. The story is based on a little girl whose mother is a doctor. The mother does not want to leave her little daughter but has to go to the hospital and stay there. The little girl stays back with her painter father. Her father’s painting, portraying the little girl while crying without her mother is really heart touching. However, the girl also understands the importance of her mother’s profession in this situation.

The concept of the story has been given by Rajesh Kumar Nayak. The actors are Chintamani Biswal, Kalpashri Jagadev and Tanya Biswal, the graphics are by Malaya Nayak and the duration of the movie is 4.55 minutes.

Likewise, another short movie of Das is ‘Grihabandi’. Pritwiraj, Chintamani, Dipti Mohanty and Suman Maharana have acted in this movie. The story is about the children who are not following the lockdown rules.

Lopamudra Barik’s short movie ‘Batabana’ encourages people to stay indoors and maintain social distancing. The movie portrays that by obeying lockdown rules, everyone can be a hero in this war.

The story has been written by Lopamudra and Bhaswati Basu, Debadutta Pati, Soumya Ranjan Behera, Lopamudra, Suryakanta Chhotray, Krishna Singh, Antaryami Mishra and Shibani Panda have acted in it.

The shooting of these short movies has been done inside homes only.

Recently, an awareness video on the novel coronavirus was made with actors from different film industries in India. Virtually directed by Prasoon Pandey, the film emphasises on the importance of staying at home in the fight against the deadly virus.

It has Amitabh Bachchan, Priyanka Chopra, Rajinikanth, Diljit Dosanjh, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Chiranjeevi, Prosenjit Chatterjee, Shiva Rajkumar, Mohanlal and Mammootty. The story of the movie is about Big B’s missing sunglasses and everyone’s effort to find it.
