Wild Bear Rescued From House In Odisha’s Nabarangpur

Nabarangpur. Forest officials have rescued a wild bear from a house after a five-hour-long operation in Nabarangpur district.

According to reports, the bear had entered a room in the house at Rani Chachara village in Jharigaan block on Friday. Four members of a family residing in the house locked the room from outside and informed wildlife officials.

Soon, a team from Jharigaan Forest Range reached the spot and caught the bear.

It was put in a cage and taken away. The bear will be treated and then released to a jungle, sources said.
