Mumbai: After delivering one of the biggest box-office hits last year, ‘Pushpa’ director Sukumar is reportedly in talks with Shah Rukh Khan for his upcoming rural political drama.
Reports suggest that the filmmaker, known for directing unconventional characters in his movies, is mulling presenting Shah Rukh in a never-seen-before avatar of an anti-hero in his upcoming project.
“King Khan will play an anti-hero, but this will be a rural political action drama that promises to show him in a raw, rustic, and desi avatar,” a source was quoted as saying by Mid-Day.
Shah Rukh has earlier played anti-hero in ‘Darr’ and ‘Baazigar,’ and both the films did wonders at the box-office.
Sukumar is currently occupied with multiple projects, including ‘RC 17’ with Ram Charan, and ‘Pushpa 3: The Rampage.’
On the other hand, SRK is gearing up with ‘King,’ and ‘Pathaan 2.’
