Patna: Sushant Singh Rajput’s cousin and BJP MLA Niraj Singh Babloo on Tuesday expressed concern over the safety of witnesses in his death case.
“They are being threatened and Mumbai Police is not even providing protection to them. I fear they might get killed,” he told ANI.
The CBI has already registered an FIR against actor Rhea Chakraborty and five others on a complaint filed by the actor’s father KK Singh alleging abetment to suicide.
The Enforcement Directorate is also questioning close contacts of Sushant in a money-laundering case since Singh had claimed that Rs 15 crore was siphoned off the actor’s account.
Sushant was allegedly found hanging at his Bandra residence on June 14.
