Balasore: Locals blocked the road near Jageshwarpada Aruhabad in Balasore district, disrupting vehicular movement, after a woman was killed and her daughter sustained critical injuries in a road accident on Wednesday.
The mother, identified as Jyostna Behera, died on the spot after the scooter she was riding was hit by a speeding sand-laden truck. Her daughter, Naina Behera, was admitted to a nearby hospital in a critical condition.
