Berhampur: A woman was killed and two others were injured after a motorcycle carrying them was hit by a truck on National Highway near Lanjipalli in Berhampur of Ganjam district on Friday.
The injured persons were rescued and admitted to MKCG Medical College and Hospital in critical condition.
On being informed about the accident, police rushed to the spot and took stock of the situation.
Eyewitnesses told police that over speeding by the truck driver apparently caused the mishap.
