Sambalpur: The body of a woman was found hanging from a tree in Pindapadar village under Govindpur police limits of Sambalpur on Saturday.
Residents spotted the hanging body on Saturday morning and informed the police, which arrived to seize the body for post-mortem. As the body was soaked in blood, it is suspected that the woman was murdered before her body was hanged from the tree. The exact motive behind the murder was yet to be ascertained. The police have started investigations into the matter.
